These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Royal Lady website, mobile web app and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate, current and complete information. Update it whenever it changes.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraud, chargebacks or abuse.

3. Product listings, pricing & taxes

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Product images are indicative — actual shade, texture and fit may vary slightly due to lighting, monitor calibration and hand-finished tailoring.
• We make reasonable efforts to keep prices, availability and descriptions accurate, but errors may occur. If a pricing or descriptive error is discovered after you place an order, we reserve the right to cancel that order and issue a full refund.

4. Orders, acceptance & cancellation

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we accept the order (typically confirmed by email).
• We may refuse or cancel an order in cases of stock unavailability, suspected fraud, breach of these Terms, or shipping to a restricted region.
• You may cancel an unpaid COD order before it is dispatched, from Profile → My orders. Once dispatched, please follow the return process.
• Prepaid cancellations before dispatch are refunded within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

5. Payments

We accept UPI, cards, netbanking, popular wallets, and Cash on Delivery (where available). Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant gateways. Royal Lady never stores your card, CVV or UPI PIN. If payment fails or is reversed, your order will not be dispatched.

6. Shipping

Shipping timelines, fees and coverage are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier, weather, or force majeure conditions.

7. Returns & refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Some products (final-sale, innerwear, swimwear, personalised items) are non-returnable for hygiene and customisation reasons.

8. Intellectual property

All content on Royal Lady — designs, patterns, product photography, text, illustrations, logos, wordmarks, video, and code — is owned by Royal Lady or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and applicable international treaties. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, users or data.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract product data or images.
• Introduce malware, engage in denial-of-service, or interfere with the Service.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Post reviews or content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates a third party's rights.

10. User content

If you post reviews, ratings, photos or other content, you grant Royal Lady a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You represent that you own or have rights to the content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

11. Coupons, offers & promotions

Coupons and offers are subject to specific terms displayed at the time of the promotion. They cannot be combined unless stated, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn without prior notice. We reserve the right to disqualify any user who abuses promotions.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Royal Lady disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Royal Lady, its officers, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Royal Lady harmless from any claim, loss, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

15. Force majeure

Royal Lady shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, riots, strikes, courier failures, pandemic-related restrictions, or internet outages.

16. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the registered office of Royal Lady.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.
